Raquel Jennings, a Philadelphia-born artist, possesses a rich and extensive career as an actress, singer, and songwriter, spanning over two decades. Renowned for originating the role of Jacqui Minton in the world premiere of "Grace" at Ford's Theatre, she has graced eminent stages like Carnegie Hall, The Apollo Theater, PAC-NYC, Signature Theatre, and The Kennedy Center. With a B.A. and M.A. in Music from Morgan State University, Raquel, a classically trained soprano, has served as a featured soloist in national and international choral groups. Her songwriting prowess extends to original compositions for stage plays and her solo music. Notable credits include portraying Sarah in "Ragtime," Lorrell in "Dreamgirls," and Cathy in "The Last 5 Years."
